what it feels like to win and lose – it teaches you about life.
Cricket is a sport for every aspiring student. Tejukaya Cricket Cup gives students an opportunity to compete at an inter-school level. Over 14 schools from across Mumbai participate in this annual event. This tournament is recognised by MCA (Mumbai Cricket Association).
It has paved the way for many a young cricket enthusiast. Mohit Lalwani, from Don Bosco School, won the tournament in 2016/17 and went on to represent Mumbai at the Ranjit Trophy.
Royal Antara Kutchi Olympia is a Pan India Kutchi community event with 12,500 participants. Men, women and children join in over 350 different sports categories.
Team Tejukaya Titans consisted of professionally trained male & female players who enthusiastically participated in Go Kabaddi highly popular sporting event. The girls’ team were first runners up in the contest, bringing triumph to all their fans.
A glorious event sponsored by Tejukaya Group of Companies brought together folks from all over Mumbai. Diverse sporting contests were held. Over 900 participants competed in football, boxing, cricket, throw ball and many more games.

Established in 1984, Smt. Vimlaben Khimji Tejookaya College (SKVT College), was created to bring higher education to children of the armed forces and the surrounding rural areas. It was the first institution to offer all three streams – Arts, Science and Commerce degrees under one roof. Starting with a mere hundred students, today approximately 3500 students are enrolled in it, out of which more than 60% are girls.
The college is certified ‘A’, graded by the NAAC (The National Assessment and Accreditation Council) committee in 2012. It is also registered with the District Maharashtra Board with the approval of AICTE.
Through its various endeavours, Tejukaya Trust aims to attain 100% literacy for the coming generation. For students residing in Mota Layja Kutch village, the trust has set up a Mini IT hub and a centre for specialized courses. This empowerment of the next generation, to be self-sufficient, self-supportive and capable of a sustained livelihood, has prompted the Trust put together a host of study options. Housed in two buildings Sheth Shree Khimji Tejookaya (J.P) and Smt. Vimlaben Khimji Tejookaya is a mini IT centre. Equipped with a hi-tech computer lab it keeps the students abreast with modern technology. Various specialised courses too are conducted at the center imparting useful vocational skills.

In 2017, a medical check-up was conducted at the Signare building site for the construction labourers.
